Quant Algos AI ("QAi", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use the QAi Discord bot and related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. QAi is an educational trading-analysis assistant that runs inside Discord.
We do not collect personal financial data. QAi never asks for and never stores brokerage credentials, account numbers, trade history, portfolio holdings, card details, or banking information. We are not a broker and have no access to your trading accounts.
Discord identifiers. To operate, QAi processes your Discord user ID, username, and the server (guild) and channel IDs where it is used. These are provided by Discord and are needed to respond to you and deliver features.
Commands and prompts. When you run a slash command, mention @QAi, or send it a direct message, we process the content of that request — for example the ticker, timeframe, question, or chart image you submit — so the bot can generate a response.
Chart images (vision). If you share a chart screenshot for analysis, the image is sent to our AI provider to produce a read. We do not use your images to train models.
Short-term conversation memory. For the AI assistant to hold a coherent conversation, a limited window of recent messages (roughly the last 20) is retained temporarily as context.
Membership data. If you subscribe to a paid tier, that transaction is handled by our membership platform, Whop. We may receive confirmation of your subscription status and the associated Discord account, but not your payment card or banking details.
QAi does not read general Discord messages that are not directed at it, does not monitor other channels or private conversations, and does not collect your email address, IP address, real name (beyond what your Discord profile exposes), location, brokerage credentials, or financial account information.
We use the limited data above to: (a) operate the bot and respond to your commands, mentions, and messages; (b) generate charts, AI reads, heatmaps, and alerts; (c) maintain short-term conversational context; (d) enforce rate limits and premium access; (e) diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
QAi shares the minimum data needed with service providers that make the bot work:
Each provider has its own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We keep data only as long as needed to run the service. Conversation-context memory is short-lived and rolls off automatically. Operational logs (such as command usage for debugging and abuse prevention) are retained for a limited period and then deleted. If you stop using QAi or request deletion, we will remove associated data we control within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the limited data we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can stop QAi from processing your data at any time by ceasing to use its commands, removing the bot from your server, or leaving the community. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
QAi is intended only for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date on this page. Continued use of QAi after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
